LIVE PROJECT
The goal was to create a lightweight and reassuring mobile experience for patients undergoing Holter monitoring. By pairing the app with the LifeSignals biosensor, we aimed to make the procedure remote, accessible, and anxiety-free while maintaining clinical accuracy and reliability.
Patients using traditional Holter devices often struggle with complex setup steps, unclear instructions, and uncertainty about whether the device is functioning correctly.
Our challenge was to design an experience that guides users step-by-step, communicates device status in real time, and reduces emotional stress through simple, trustworthy interactions.
I focused on three key areas of design: creating a simple, informative dashboard, building an effortless way to track and review symptoms, and structuring the app to scale across future cardiac monitoring products.
Designed a clear dashboard that shows biosensor connection, internet status, and data sync at a glance. A progress tracker and quick-access guide help patients monitor tests and troubleshoot on their own.
Created a simple flow for patients to record symptoms during their test.
Each entry is time-stamped, synced with ECG data, and summarized clearly for both patients and clinicians.
Built the app on a modular framework that supports other cardiac procedures like MCT and Multiparameter Monitoring. Shared components and architecture allow new workflows to be added quickly while keeping the experience consistent.
UbiqVue turned Holter monitoring into a fully remote experience, allowing patients to start and complete tests from home while clinicians accessed real-time data through a secure cloud platform.
Over 10,000 Holter tests prescribed by 800+ cardiologists
Reports delivered within 36 hours, accelerating diagnosis
Patients completed tests without clinic visits or nurse support
