To design a digital tool that supports healthcare providers in delivering personalized and preventative care. The goal was to help visualize patient health across key pillars like nutrition, sleep, movement, and stress, enabling more holistic, data-informed decisions.
Providers lacked tools that connect lifestyle and clinical data in one place.
Existing systems focused on reactive treatment.
The challenge was to create a platform that gives providers meaningful visibility into patient data, helping them connect patterns and make proactive decisions.
The provider platform was designed around the core principles of functional medicine — Collect, Connect, and Care.
Each step gives healthcare providers the tools to gather patient information, understand it in context, and design personalized care plans that focus on prevention and long-term health.
Structured data entry flows help providers collect information across lifestyle, clinical, and behavioral factors such as nutrition, sleep, movement, and stress.
This unified intake process ensures every decision is based on comprehensive and reliable data.
The platform visualizes patient data across health pillars, helping providers identify trends and correlations between habits and outcomes.
These visual tools also support collaborative discussions with patients, encouraging shared understanding and involvement in their care.
The platform supports goal-setting, progress tracking, and easy updates based on follow-ups or new insights.
This structure enables ongoing, adaptive care focused on prevention rather than reaction.
Working on Recoup strengthened my understanding of how design can translate medical philosophy into digital experiences.
Designing for functional medicine required balancing clinical data with human context, helping me see how systems can support providers in delivering more holistic, preventative care.
